Arrive early and head straight for the Straw Hat Cafe before it gets crowded to avoid the massive wait. Be sure to check out the Saturn Theatre for original short animation limited for the Museum!

Look in every corner, nook and cranny... or you'll miss something! Be sure to see the show in the theater (show up early to get in line) bc they are usually exclusives you won't be able to see again!

What an experience! You don’t have to be a Ghibli/Miyazaki fan to enjoy this museum. It disconnects you from reality and takes you to a lovely place. Won’t be my last visit for sure ????????

The collection is tiny yet beautiful. The only way to get tickets from overseas is asking someone in Japan to buy them for you. But be aware that they’ll ask at the gate for the ID of who bought them.

It's quite small but very interesting and worth going especially if you're a fan, some really cool insight into the animation process using traditional techniques

You can easily walk here from Mitaka station. Plan to spend at least 3 hours getting lost here. There's lots that you won't see if you don't look close enough ;)
