Fitting tribute to a National hero. Nelson died at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 where the French and Spanish fleets were destroyed. Children love climbing over the lions at the base.

Popular tourist monument in Trafalgar Square. Don’t climb on the lions, it’s finable offense. Grab a sandwich & coffee from Pret across the road, sit on the monument stairs & watch the world go by.
