Horses or no-find a way to get to the #Tiger'sNest! If your guide's esp devout, you might get into an upper room (gen off-limits) so you ask a monk about Buddhism. A life high point!

3-4 hours climb up to monastery. Bring some umbrella during summer time because of raining. Bring hiking shoes and make sure to bring climbing stick or buy wooden stick at the staring point.

We started off early, leaving the carpark before 7am. Reached the temple gate by 10am. After touring the temples, it was crowded everywhere (temple grounds & stairs) as we made our way back to base

Start as early as possible, according to the guide it is 5.2 kms long and a total elevation of 950 metres. The last part can be challenging with 450 steps to descend and 250 steps yo ascend.

A serious MUST DO on any trip to Bhutan. Head there early to beat the hot sun and don't first they close the monastery from 12 to 1pm daily ????????????????.

During winter, pack an extra pair of socks. The temple floors are ice cold, and since you have to remove your shoes to enter them, the extra socks offer a bit more insulation ????????
